Adaptive Riding, also known as therapeutic riding
What is adaptive riding?
Adaptive riding is an equine assisted activity designed to positively contribute to the riders physical, emotional and social well being. Our classes are typically taught in a small group setting, and participants are grouped by their specific needs. These classes are intended to benefit riders with physical or emotional challenges. We can adapt our riding class to fit their needs.
Who teaches these classes?
Our adaptive classes are taught by a PATH certified therapeutic riding instructor. We are also always accepting volunteers to help with horse leading and side walking.
